No shocking result in a game when sixth rankedL.M.Mons. (4-6) crushed on the road bottom-ranked Capitalinas (0-10) 76-48 on Wednesday. L.M.Mons. shot 24 for 32 from the free-throw line, while Capitalinas only scored eight points from the stripe. Dominican swingman Yenifer Jimenez (163-1999) notched a double-double by scoring 28 points, 18 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and Katherinne Rivas supported her with 9 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Even 15 points and 6 rebounds by forward Gabriela Funes (178-2008) did not help to save the game for Capitalinas . Jaylin Cruz added 8 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Capitalinas' coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. L.M.Mons. moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Santa Ana and Ahuachapan. Loser Capitalinas still closes the standings with ten games lost.
